A considered approach to data.
Effective October 2, 2026. We keep the site open to readers and collect only the data needed to operate and improve it.
Reading Boba Travel.
You do not need a reader account to access articles, rankings, valuations or card guides. Our hosting and delivery providers may process technical data such as IP address, browser information, request timestamps and security signals to serve the website and prevent abuse.
Analytics.
When configured, we use PostHog to understand which pages and links readers find useful. Analytics may include page URLs, approximate device information and site interactions. We do not use analytics to capture passwords, credit card applications or newsletter email addresses. Session replay is disabled in our site configuration.
We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals in our analytics implementation. Provider logs and essential security processing may still occur as part of operating the website.
Newsletter interest.
If you join our newsletter interest list, we store the email address you submit, your consent and the request timestamp. We use it to notify you when the newsletter launches and to send the updates you request. Submission does not mean that an email has already been sent.
We do not sell the newsletter list. Future emails will include an unsubscribe option. Do not submit another person’s address without permission.
Links to other services.
Issuer websites, booking providers, image sources and social platforms apply their own privacy policies. When affiliate links are activated, partners may use referral information or cookies to attribute an application or purchase. We will label those links.
Service providers and storage.
We use Vercel for hosting, Supabase for editorial and newsletter storage, and may use Cloudflare for domain and content delivery services. Information may be processed in the regions used by those providers. Editorial agent credentials remain server-side and are not part of reader-facing accounts.
Changes.
We will update this page when our data practices change. Please review it before submitting information through new site features.
